Navigate to the Rewards section:
From the Dashboard, select “Rewards” in the left-hand menu
You will now be on the Rewards List View page as seen below. Select “Create A Reward” in the top right-hand corner.
There are three sections to creating a Reward. Details, Redemption, and Appearance. Let’s learn about them below.
Details
This is the basic information that will be displayed to the user within the app and optional settings.
Title/Reward Value - The title of the Reward. Can also be the value, ex. "15% Off Code"
Reward Description - Rich text editor used to describe this Reward.
Limit Supply - Rewards default to unlimited. Toggle this on to set a supply limit. This is not how many times 1 user can redeem the reward, but rather the total number of rewards you are providing for the entire community.
Expiration Date - Display the date when reward can no longer be redeemed.
Redemption
There are multiple ways for you to distribute a reward. Select the method you wish to use and more options will appear for you to fill out. The options and their requirement are listed below:
Inline Content - Select this option if you would like to do a customized reward. You are given a rich text editor to configure the reward.
Codes - Use this option if you are distributing discount codes, gift cards, access codes for events, or other similar rewards that require either unique or reusable codes. There are two options to choose from if you make this selection:
Single-Use - Select this option if the codes are no longer valid after they have been used. This is for if you’ll be giving an individual code to each person who claims a Reward. If you have selected this option you will be able to upload a CSV file of your codes in the box below.
Multi-Use Code - Select this option if all users will be getting the same code. If you select this option you will be able to enter the code in a text box below.
Convert to Scannable Code - whether you have selected Single-Use or Multi-Use codes you’ll be able to convert the codes into either a UPC or QR code. This option allows the user to display on their mobile device a UPC or QR code that a system you control can interact with. Great for if the codes are going to be used at a POS system or by event staff at a venue.
Optional Toggles
Add Button
If you turn this option on you’ll be able to add a button to the page the user sees as they are viewing the reward. You can press the “Add Button” button multiple times to add multiple buttons. In the “Button Text” field enter the text the button should display such as “Shop Now” “Register Here” or “Learn More” and in the “Link” field enter the URL you wish the button to link to.
Helper Text
If you turn the helper text feature on you’ll be able to add a short message the user sees as they are viewing their earned reward. This is handy if you need to convey instructions such as “Show bar code to cashier at check out."
Appearance
This where you configure how the reward will look in the end-user app.
Accent Color - This displays as the background of the reward card and in key CTAs and icons of the detail view.
Logo - Add a thumbnail image or logo to represent this reward.
Background Image (optional) - If included, this image displays on the reward card behind a gradient using the accent color.
To save the progress you have made select “Save Draft” in the top right corner.
